Ends of the Minnesota high school cross country season tomorrow in Portland, Oregon.

There are of course cross country Portland Meadows, the last home-state harriers still draw spikes, during the sixth competition in Nike Cross Nationals.

The Class AA state support runners-Eden Prairie and Wayzata up competing in a race the boys' on NxN. Elk River, Class AA champs girls' team to go against the best girls in the country in Portland.

Eden Prairie is ranked # 15 nationally in the last Dyestat minority / 50 poll ESPN Rise Fab. Wayzata is ranked # 20, Elk River is ranked # 39 in the poll of the girls.

Minnesota will compete in three people also NxN: Bloomington Jefferson Jacob Sandry, Shakopee girls Class AA champ 'Maria Hauger, and winner of Class A Girls' Maddie McClellan.

Last year the Eden Prairie girls placed 10 on NxN. The Wayzata boys finished 18. Grand Rapids exchange student Jakub Zivec the runner-up boy.
