Sauber F1 team recruitment Japan Kamui Kobayashi

Sauber signed Kamui Kobayashi of Japan as one of their two race drivers for 2010 Formula One season 1st

Kobayashi, 23, taken for Toyota, as he stood in for injured Timo Glock in the last two races of 2009.

Team test driver in 2008 and 2009, he took the opportunity to finish sixth in the season-ending Grand Prix Abu Dhabi.

"Since the beginning of my career I dreamed of racing in Formula 1," said Kobayashi.

"I am very happy that both my career in 2009, I was the pit area.

"I tried to Peter Sauber team, and I am proud to be able to perform under the Japanese flag in Formula 1.

Kobayashi was the first driver to join the team, who returned to the ownership after founder Peter Sauber F1 BMW withdrew from the end of 2009.

He bent to the ground, drive the Toyota plant after his eye-catching display in Abu Dhabi, but his hopes were dashed when the Japanese manufacturers left BMW sport.

Sauber said that Kobayashi won in Brazil and Abu Dhabi.

"Especially in the race Abu Dhabi, Kamui proved not only that it can drive fast and aggressive, but also for its ability to successfully implement the strategy," he said.

"I am convinced that there is huge potential and can use it in our team."

Ferrari test driver Giancarlo Fisichella and McLaren test driver Pedro de la Rosa were both in connection with the second seat Sauber, who have said they want the driving experience, and one new in 2010.

He believes that a pending decision from Michael Schumacher to seven time winner comes out of retirement to drive for Mercedes in 2010.

Believes that the only destination where Schumacher is back where the neck has healed from the damage of their long motorcycle accident last winter.
