Longtime sportscaster George Michael, best known as host of syndicated program, "George Michael Sports Machine," died. Was 70

Michael, who always had confidence and style, while the boisterous atmosphere, worked in radio and television for over 40 years. I worked on the sports desk NBC affiliate in Washington, DC, 1980-2007.

"George Michael Sports Machine" aired in syndication 1984-2007. This happens KNBC Channel 4 in Los Angeles, which broadcast its program on the entire process.] When it debuted, it was one of the few sources of sporting events and information for fans who do not have access to cable networks like ESPN and CNN.
