advent conspiracy

advent conspiracy
Advent Conspiracy convinced that we have lost our way, like Focus on the Family and Bill O'Reilly, among others. I just disagree on the details. For them it is not something to say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" or typical moaning about political correctness.

For this group, the commercialization of holidays that the main problem. "These are the purchases that go into debt, fears that 'If I do not spend much money, you think that I love,'" says Portland, Oregon, Buddy Rick McKinley.

McKinley believes that too many Christians focus their attention and energy on the wrong issues. "Christians all bent out of shape that someone does not say 'Merry Christmas' when I went to the store. But why, we hope that our shop to tell the story? That's just ridiculous."
Advent Conspiracy claim that commercialization is the best holiday and its meaning diluted. They want people to think less about gifts they go shopping, and others about what they can do for others.

Their website is more detailed. "What is one time to celebrate the birth of the savior somehow turned in times of stress, traffic jams, and shopping list."

Lamenting the changes and so many will continue to increase its debt and feel empty when it's all said and done, but called for more worship and giving, and less spending.

The group raises serious questions worthy of attention especially during the month of December.
