Google's Android 2.1 operating system made its debut into the wild several weeks ago, when the Nexus One by HTC came to the market via Google's web store, is currently available only on this handset, and is getting ready to arrive on other devices too. However, while Nexus One does have at the moment something that other phones lack, namely the latest flavor of Android, it does miss something that other handsets can enjoy, namely HTC's Sense experience, which the company has just enhanced for its users.
As pointed out a few times before the Desire is very similar with Nexus One, sporting about the same design and hardware specs, but still has some additional features that can make it more appealing than the older handset, including that Sense approach to user experience.
It seems that things are getting along pretty well, except for a few complications here and there. In the end, Nexus One can taste HTC Sense via the said ROM, which came along with some Flash 10.1 goodness, but there are some details that need be taken care of, such as the fact that the system file is too big for the internal storage on Nexus One, though removing some stuff off the system partition did the job.
Those who are into the ROM installation and flashing side of the fence will certainly rejoice learning that more work on the said solution will be made, and there are chances that an HTC Desire ROM for Nexus One will arrive into the wild with all things up and running.
